Theo is ready to work for you.

Theo is a lot of people’s first experience of working with AI so closely. But our customers quickly find Theo a better and easier experience than Squarespace or Wix.

There’s no editor function. There’s no drag and drop. Everything is done in the chat box. Think of Theo as the website designer and just give him instructions on what you want to do in everyday American.

The process.

Your preview site might not look exactly how you want it. But don't worry. The preview site is just a concept presentation: a design to show you the kind of site Theo can build.

Talk to Theo to make any changes you want: refine images, adjust headlines, rearrange sections, or make the whole thing feel more like your business. And if you prefer, you can ask Theo to match the look of your existing site. Just enter your current URL and tell Theo to match it.

Changing stuff.

Changing stuff is as simple as telling Theo what you want changed, just as you would any other person. For instance, if you want to move a section, just type in the instruction: “Move the 5th section to above section 2.”

Or if you want to change the main headline, just type in: “Change main headline to ‘If you love pizza you’ll love us.’” Only use this exact phrase if you’re a pizza company, but you know what we mean.

If you want to add photos or videos, just drag them into the chat box and tell Theo where you want them placed. Images are automatically resized and optimized for the website and for different devices.

Whatever you want to do, Theo will get it. He’ll even make suggestions on how to improve what you’re asking for. We’d say about 99% of our customers are astonished by how easy it is and how intuitive Theo is. They ask themselves why every business can’t operate like Theo.

Credits.

Credits are used when you ask Theo to make changes in chat, from a quick edit to a major overhaul. Theo’s ongoing growth work, including blog posts, landing pages, SEO fixes, and updates, is included in your plan and never uses credits.

Your plan includes monthly credits for those requested changes, and you can always purchase more for a major overhaul. Purchased top-up credits roll over and never expire.

You can view your balance any time under Website Settings (that’s the gear icon in the top-right corner) → Plan & Credits.

Connecting your domain.

Once you’re happy with your site it’s time to make sure everyone can see it. Theo will guide you through every step of the way. Your old website (if you have one) remains live until you change the domain’s DNS records, but there should be no downtime during the transition.

It’s your site. Not ours.

You will always own your website and its content. The site is hosted by Theo, and Pro customers can export the complete website code. There is no long-term commitment, and you can cancel at any time.

After cancellation, your site remains live for approximately 30 days before it is paused. Which should give you enough time to export it to whatever host you prefer.

Now let’s get you found.

Once your site is live, Theo’s real work begins: to get your business found. Using and automating common SEO tactics, Theo takes on the jobs of an agency, an SEO company, or your nephew charging you $50 an hour, but at a fraction of the price. And we are at it, 24/7/365.

Research keywords and competitors in your market
Build dedicated pages, blog posts, and landing pages
Fix technical SEO issues
Improve page speed
Submit pages to Google for indexing
Work to earn citations in AI search tools, including ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews

This work snowballs over several months and while you may not notice much of a difference after a week, you’ll notice a big difference after four months.

E-commerce.

Theo doesn't handle checkouts or payments or keep any records of your customers.

Connect your Shopify or Wix store and sell right on your site. Your products, prices and stock appear on your own pages with a cart, and checkout completes through your store's secure checkout. Your store keeps doing what it does today: inventory, orders, payments and shipping. You manage products in one place, your store.

You'll need an active Shopify or Wix store to process purchases. Prefer to keep selling where you are, like Etsy or an existing storefront? Your site can link straight to your products there, or your store can live on a subdomain like shop.yourdomain.com.

Other third-party apps and services.

Theo is your marketing website. It works alongside the membership, booking, point-of-sale, reservation, and event tools your business already uses.

Theo does not operate a member database or process checkout directly. Instead, Theo acts as the public-facing website that gets your business found and links customers to the tools that keep your business running.
